Often the best way to proceed with a diplomatic endeavor is to just jump right on in. The Ambassador and his colleague, The Secretary, decide to do just that. More than knee-deep in his work, The Ambassador stops to contemplate the long term consequences.  Staging the traditional photo-op frequently tends toward the bizarre. This time was certainly not an exception.

The Ambassador creates a new amusement in the same vein as a popular children game: Shoe, Shoe, Where in the Leaves, is My Shoe? Sometimes the best diplomatic solution is just to sleep on it.  The Ambassador was honor to take part in the culturally significant Raising of the Rake, an important autumn celebration of The Leaves.
